A 25-year-old woman was found dead in an apartment in Umeå on Saturday and a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.
It is about a man who was also in the apartment. The man was arrested on Saturday morning by a prosecutor, reasonably suspected of murder, but was released on Sunday.
– There are still suspicions against him at the lower level of suspicion. He was set free as it is considered that such investigative measures have been carried out that there is no longer any danger of collision, says Anna Nilsson, assistant prosecutor, to SVT Nyheter Västerbotten.

The day before yesterday, the well-known whale Hvalidimir was confirmed dead.
But now comes information that his cause of death was not natural.
This is what the head of the volunteer organization One Whale says to Stavanger Aftenblad according to Dagbladet. She has followed him for five years.
– We are devastated by the news that Hvaldimir has been found dead, says Regina Crosby Haug.
It is not known what caused the whale’s death. But there are plans for him to be autopsied.
– He was healthy and had no signs of illness. My guess is that he was hit by a boat and died of internal injuries. We have documented that Hvaldimir has swum with boats, and he has previously been hit by a boat, says Haug.
The whale Hvaldimir was noticed by the media when there was speculation about whether he was a “spy whale” trained by Russia. He was found dead in the harbor basin in Risavika outside Stavanger last Saturday.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called the AfD’s success and the loss of his own coalition “bitter”, reports Reuters.
Furthermore, he urged the other major parties to form the government without “right-wing extremists”.
But the chance for AfD to govern is low because other parties have not wanted to cooperate with them in the past, writes the news agency.
– The results for the AfD in Saxony and Thuringia are worrying, says Olaf Scholz.

House prices rose by 2 percent in August, according to new statistics from SBAB. Now awaits an autumn where the Riksbank has flagged for several interest rate cuts.
– If inflation jumps up again and the Riksbank does not lower the interest rate, it would be quite negative for the housing market, says Robert Boije.
For villas, the increase in August was 2.2 percent and for condominiums 1.5 percent. Seasonally adjusted, the increase was 0.7 percent for the country as a whole.
According to Robert Boije, Chief Economist at SBAB, an increase was expected because prices usually shoot up in August. However, they rose somewhat more than normal for the month.
– We look at seasonal patterns and normally house prices rise during the spring months, then the summer months tend to be a bit down and then comes August, he says.
After that, housing prices normally fall in September to December, how it will be this autumn is uncertain.
– Now everyone expects that the interest rate is on the way down. If inflation jumps up again and the Riksbank does not lower the interest rate, it would be quite negative for the housing market.
