A 35-year-old man has been arrested and detained as a reasonable suspect, that is the lower level of suspicion.
The police were called to the apartment shortly before 7pm on Saturday. The woman was found dead in the home and according to the police, crime cannot be ruled out.
The apartment has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
