A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a woman who was found dead in a home in Vingåker municipality. The woman was found with injuries that mean that murder cannot be ruled out.
– We have a major murder investigation underway and we are carrying out many different investigative measures, says Angelica Forsberg, press spokesperson at the police.
The man and the woman have some kind of relationship to each other, but the police do not want to share more details than that.
The alarm was received during the night of Friday and when the police arrived at the residence in question, they found the dead woman and a man who could then be arrested.
