The three people were arrested on Wednesday and detained on Thursday, something like P4 Kronoberg was the first to report.
– They were arrested during an operation that took place on the evening of May 8 and are being held by the police in Växjö, says Katarina Rusin, press spokesperson for Police Region South.
The woman was found dead in a wind shelter in the outdoor area Ekebacken in Lessebo on Sunday. The victim has now been identified and next of kin have been notified.
“Intensive stage in the investigation”
Otherwise, the police are tight-lipped about those arrested or how the arrest took place.
– We are at a very intensive stage in the investigation. What we are doing now is to continue questioning the arrested and any witnesses, says Katarina Rusin.
All three suspects deny the crime, according to P4 Kronoberg.
