The police became aware of the death just before 6pm on Wednesday evening. Then it is the paramedics on site at the residence in southern Huskvarna who assess that a police patrol needs to be called in.
– Exactly what the circumstances are is currently too sensitive to go into, but after a check we will start a preliminary investigation into murder because we cannot rule out crime, says Olle Älveroth, press spokesperson for the police in the East region.
Who is it that finds the woman?
– Someone finds the woman in the home. And exactly how she was found is something that could be interesting in the investigation, so I’m sticking to that at the moment, says Olle Älveroth.
The police technician has been on site during the evening and carried out an investigation in the home.
– Going forward, we need to wait for the results of the autopsy. How high the degree of suspicion is cannot be answered at the moment, says Olle Älveroth.
The woman’s next of kin have been informed of the death.
