The man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of a woman in Finspång has now been released, local media reports.
It was during Thursday that the police were alerted about a dead woman being found in a residence. The circumstances surrounding the cause of death were unclear and the police came to arrest a man suspected of attempted murder.
On Saturday, prosecutor Torsten Angervåg confirmed that the man had been released. The suspicions against him have weakened.
– I decided yesterday, Friday, that the man should be released. A long interrogation has been held with the man, where he has explained in more detail what he believes has happened, says Torsten Angervåg to SVT Nyheter Öst.
