A woman is facing assault charges after Norfolk OPP responded to a weapons complaint in Simcoe on Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to a Scott Avenue address at just before 6 pm where a verbal disagreement had turned into a physical altercation.
A 37-year-old Brant County woman was charged with four counts of assault with a weapon and three counts of uttering threats. She was also charged with possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with probation order.
The woman is scheduled to appear in Simcoe court at a later date.
