The accident happened on Sunday afternoon and according to SOS alarm, the woman was driving a pickup truck.
– She had to be cut free from the vehicle, says an emergency operator.
Moved from Kiruna to Gällivare
The woman, who is in her 60s and a native of Kiruna, was first taken by ambulance to Kiruna hospital.
– She is seriously injured and has been moved to Gällivare hospital, writes Region Norrbotten in its injury report.
