A woman in her 30s has been detained on probable cause on suspicion of attempted murder after she stabbed another woman in Filipstad municipality, reports Nya Wermlands-Tidningen.
It was on Wednesday that a woman was found seriously injured in an apartment and taken to hospital in an ambulance helicopter. The female suspect was arrested and detained in the afternoon of the same day.
– She denies the crime but admits that she stabbed the other woman with a knife. But she says it was an emergency measure, says prosecutor Magnus Feldth Håpnes to the newspaper.
