A woman in her 70s has died in connection with a fire outside Trelleborg, the police report on their website.
The fire broke out in a summer cottage at 5.30 pm on Thursday.
– There must be a strong fire indoors in a cabin. An ambulance is also on site, said Patrik Nilsson, officer on duty at the rescue service, to Trelleborgs Allehanda earlier in the evening.
The fire was under control at 18.30, and during the operation the rescue service found a person in the cabin.
– The smoke divers found a person who we helped out and handed over to the ambulance, Patrik Nilsson told the newspaper.
