A woman has died in a house fire in Markaryd municipality.

It was around 00:30 last night that the police and emergency services were alerted to a house fire in Markaryd municipality.
A woman has been found dead in the house and a child is still missing.
– Everything points to it being an accident, but since we are not sure, it is currently being investigated as an arson, says Sara Andersson.
Three to hospital
Three more people were taken to hospital by ambulance, but all are reported to have managed with minor injuries.
Relatives have been notified.
– We are still on site, so are the emergency services. It is still cordoned off, says Sara Andersson.
