The accident occurred at 4:30 p.m. at Alviksplan in the direction of Stockholm.
– It is a female passenger who was sitting on the back of the motorcycle who has died in connection with the accident, says Carina Skagerlind, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police to SVT.
The driver, a man, was taken to hospital. The extent of the damage is unclear.
The police request video
The motorcycle has been seized and the police state that they will request footage from the cameras at the scene to determine how the accident happened.
Several vehicles may be involved and it is too early to say anything about suspects, but a report of aggravated manslaughter will be filed.
Relatives have been notified.
