Police were called to an apartment building in Södertälje after a woman in her 60s fell from a great height. Life-saving measures were put in place, but the woman dies, the police write on their website.
The circumstances surrounding how the woman was able to fall are unclear. The police therefore initiate a preliminary investigation into murder to investigate whether a crime has been committed.
A man has been arrested and detained. The man is in his 60s and has a close relationship with the woman, according to the police.
Relatives have been notified.
