A woman in her 40s living in Uppsala County managed to steal SEK 160,000 after swearing in her husband’s name.
The woman reported for three years that her husband was waddling – without his knowledge, writes Arbetarbladet.
In fact, the husband at work and the woman were on sick leave when on 90 occasions she incorrectly applied for temporary parental benefit, so-called vab, in her husband’s name.
The woman has now been convicted of a breach of allowance by means of forgery of a document to a suspended sentence and a 60-day fine of a total of SEK 3,000.
