This is how the SOS call started in the afternoon of October 30 last year.
When the police patrols and ambulances arrived at the home in Vadstena municipality, they were met by a macabre sight. A 75-year-old woman had been chopped to death with several ax over her head and body.
The 33-year-old daughter was arrested at the scene-who acknowledged everything.
“Asked for an orange – then I got angry”
On Friday, the daughter was charged with murder. Through all police interviews, she has told us in detail about the course of events and the origin of the ax attack.
– Around (time) 13, I thought I would pick up some chocolate and oranges.
– When I walked by (mom) and she woke up, she said she would appreciate if I didn’t take all the oranges. That I would ask the next time I took something out of the fruit bowl, says the woman in interrogation.
When the mother asked to get an orange, the daughter decided to return all fruits and not eat anything at all.
– So I put the oranges back in the kitchen. She said I had to grow up because she thought I was childish who left me the oranges. Then I got angry.
Tried to hide the tracks with wet wipes
The 33-year-old decided to pick up an ax.
– So I go out through the front door and go to the carpentry shop and look for an ax. So I close the carpenter’s door, go back to the house through the hall, through the kitchen. Then I go into Mother’s room, leave the door open. So I immediately start turning on her with the ax. With the intention of killing her.

After the ax murder, the 33-year-old woman tried to hide the tracks to “get away”.
– I pick up wet wipes in the hall. Baby wet wipes. And then I began to wash away blood on the walls and

She also tried to hide the body, but quickly gave up. It was also too much blood to succeed in cleaning everything, she says in the interview.
– But then I realize that when I am calm and have been sitting for a while I would like her to get justice. I made the worst crime where I killed my own mother. I wanted her to get justice. I wanted to make contact with the police at once so that she could get justice so that I could be arrested and get my judgment.
According to the prosecutor, the 33-year-old is estimated to suffer from a serious mental disorder. The trial will be held in April.
