The Christmas party at Heidestein in Driebergen-Rijsenburg attracts thousands of people every year, including many families with children. Organizing the event at another location or in another form is not feasible at the moment, according to nature organization Utrechts Landschap. The Schaapskooi visitor center is closed on both Christmas days.
