The municipality has now reversed the decision to leave the nest hanging. “In general, hornets are not dangerous, but this nest turned out to sting people out of nowhere,” says the spokesperson. “Although it is a protected species, the safety of residents comes first. Because of the deviant behavior of the hornets, it was decided to fight the nest anyway.”
