“I have always gone all out for this wonderful and honorable office of alderman, especially in our beautiful Woerden. I have always received every confidence from my group and I am grateful for that.” De Regt looks back on a wonderful period as alderman. “But being a councilor also demands a lot. You have to be there almost 24/7. I want to prevent me from being unable to do that anymore. I don’t want to settle for that. Not for Woerden and not for myself.”
