Woerden and Oudewater are building homes for Ukrainian refugees at lightning speed, but what about those other asylum seekers?

Woerden and Oudewater are building hundreds of homes for Ukrainian

It is dusty, the refrigerators and washing machines are still in their packaging and the walls look a bit austere. However, within a few months the former Campina building on the Bleek in Woerden has already undergone a nice transformation. Three floors have been completely converted into living spaces for Ukrainian refugees with rooms, kitchens, a common room and sanitary facilities on each floor. There is room for 140 people. In Statenland in Oudewater, where new residential units have also been built, just over forty Ukrainian refugees will soon be accommodated.
