The man who was killed was known to the police. He had previously been convicted of, among other things, incitement to serious weapons offenses and drug offences. According to his own social media, he also had strong connections to a criminal network based in Gothenburg.
SVT has today been on site at Öxnehaga in Huskvarna where the crime took place. Several people have given their view of what happened. That the man was killed outside and that there were several people, wearing dark clothes, who approached him and shot him. One of the witnesses describes what he saw as a pure execution.
– They shot him at close range, says the witness, who wishes to remain anonymous, to SVT.
Kristoffer Axell, who is head of the Södra Vätterbygden local police area, does not want to confirm the approach to SVT.
– It’s not something I can go into right now, he says.
