The Netflix series Wednesday broke several streaming records in 2022. No wonder Netflix has ordered a second season. Family head Gomez suffers from a guilty conscience. After an argument with his brother Fester this disappeared without a traceThis gives the financially strapped lawyer Tully Alford (Dan Hedaya) an idea. Gordon, the son of one of his clients, looks awfully similar to the missing Fester. Tully decides to pass him off as the lost brother in order to steal the Addams family fortune.
When the replacement window suddenly reappears, Gomez and the rest of the family are overjoyed. But Wednesday is suspicious and begins to observe the supposed uncle. Fester, or Gordon, has to find his way in the eerie world of the Addams Family, which leads to many bizarre situations and humorous moments. Ultimately, the family has to stick together to bring the truth to light and protect their home from the greedy lawyer and his client Abigail (Elizabeth Wilson).

The Addams Family is a satirical portrayal of a “perfect” American family. What seems frightening, disgusting or absolutely crazy to others is part of everyday life for the Addams. The actors bring the quirky characters to life with their unmistakable charm and its unique presentation to life. Christopher Lloyd (known as Doc Brown from the Back to the Future series) in particular expresses with his facial expressions exactly what we as viewers feel when he observes the bizarre events of the Addams Family.
