Gold in World of Warcraft has always been important and will likely remain so. We’ll tell you how to turn anima into gold in Shadowlands.
WoW: Shadowlands is in the final phase, even if there is another season to come. But the next expansion “Dragonflight” is slowly becoming apparent on the horizon, which will again demand numerous resources from the players – including gold.
All players currently have the option of turning their excess anima into gold.
We have explained in detail how to farm anima efficiently if you do not yet have all the rewards in our anima farm guide.
How do you turn anima into gold? This is possible with the mission table in your respective Pact Sanctum. There you can send your followers on missions that reward you with different loot. This ranges from direct gold rewards to crafting materials, pet tags or reputation badges.
So you either get gold directly or materials that you can put on the auction house to earn a little extra income.
This becomes especially lucrative when you can start the missions with just a few clicks and don’t even have to think about it because an addon takes over the task completely – namely “TLDR Missions”.
How does the addon work? Actually, the missions were created in such a way that you have to position your own units tactically in order to emerge victorious in the end and collect the rewards.
However, the “TLDR Missions” addon does this work for you and even runs simulations to find out which team is most likely to win on a mission. With just a few clicks, the teams are then put together and sent off.

Once the addon is installed and loaded, you can access it via the small “TLDR” button on the mission table interface.
You only have to set which missions you want to complete once per character. We recommend considering the following aspects:
If you want, you can of course collect other rewards, such as additional follower XP or more anima.
At first glance, this may not seem like much, since a single mission only yields between 200 and 400 gold. However, if you make the process as efficient as possible and also spread it over several characters, you can easily save a medium, six-figure amount of gold by the time the next addon is launched.
To complete your missions and send the followers again, you need a maximum of 30 to 60 seconds – the loading screen will probably take longer than the actual sending of the adventurers.
In addition, the method is scalable. After all, you can complete the table missions on several characters at the same time and thus multiply the profit.
Since the missions usually last several hours, it is enough if you send your followers out once or twice a day to turn anima into gold on the side.
However, you should keep two important things in mind:
Why should you do this now? Most players have long since bought what they want with Anima. While there were seemingly endless rewards in the form of transmog sets or mounts at the beginning, they are slowly being exhausted.
No matter what content you’re enjoying, there’s always a steady stream of anima that ends up in the Pact reservoir and isn’t even needed.
So it’s worth turning the anima into gold or resources with the mission table now before this option is gone. Because there will be no mission table of this kind in Dragonflight and Blizzard is known for drastically nerfing the mission tables of the old extensions, so that they are hardly worth it anymore.
Or to put it another way: Any anima that you don’t turn into gold now is wasted in a sense and will be worth significantly less later.
Are you about to turn your anima into gold yet? Or have you long since run out of anima to do that?
