The utility for creating installation USB keys for operating systems now automates the creation of a local account in Windows 11.
The publisher of Rufus never stops refining its utility to make life easier for Windows 11 users. In its latest update, the software that allows you to create installation media for a operation, inaugurates a new option that should delight many users.
The utility can now automate the creation of a local account in Windows 11. By default, Microsoft basically requires all users of its operating system to sign in using their Microsoft account in order to finalize the configuration of Windows 11 on their machine. However, in practice, this obligation can be circumvented quite easily and in just a few seconds. All you have to do is attempt a connection with a false e-mail address and a false password for the Windows 11 configuration wizard to generate an error and create a local account on the PC by default.

Here, Rufus proposes to create an installation device which will be based on the parameters of the machine used to create a local account using the same name as that of the user. A few weeks ago, the program publisher inaugurated an option allowing you to get rid of the obligation to connect using a Microsoft account to finalize the installation of Windows 11. In fact, this option disappears in favor of the new allowing to automatically create a local account in Windows 11.
Rufus 3.20 also introduces another new option: Set regional options to the same values as this user. In other words, you can create Windows 11 installation media configured with the same parameters as those configured on the PC used for the maneuver.
Since the launch of Windows 11 last year, the publisher of Rufus has, on several occasions, offered new features dedicated exclusively to the new OS. Most of them aim in particular to circumvent the many restrictions put in place by Microsoft to prevent the installation of its OS on machines whose configuration does not meet its specifications.
