In the fall of 2023, the Marvel series Loki will get a second season. MeinMMO editor Marie Friske can’t wait for the story about the Norse god to continue after seeing the trailer.
The first season of Loki was able to pick me up completely. With the charismatic god of mischief, brilliantly played by Tom Hiddleston, at the center and the exciting theme of time paradoxes and parallel universes, Loki managed to become my absolute favorite Marvel series.
Above all, the buddy story about the stubborn god and the hard-nosed agent Mobius made the series incredibly entertaining.
On July 31, 2023 I have great reason to be happy: The first trailer for the second season of Loki will be released. I’m definitely looking forward to the sequel!

In the first season of Loki, especially in the first few episodes, the focus was on the relationship and cooperation between the Norse god and the time agent Mobius M. Mobius, played by Owen Wilson.
Somewhat reluctantly, Loki became part of the Time Variance Authority, or TVA for short, and used Mobius to hunt down variants that messed up the timeline.
While others act in reverence in the presence of a Norse god, Mobius makes harsh comments about Loki’s behavior and, when he’s finally had enough, tells him directly about his talk.
At the same time, however, one also notices that his agent colleague and protégé grows fond of him over time and that the purely professional cooperation turns into an honest friendship.
This character dynamic already entertained me a lot in the first season. With humorous moments and small nice gestures, she gave the series an emotional component that I can sympathize with.

She never got close to the relationship between Sylvie and Loki, which then came to the fore more in the second half of the season.
While the female Loki variant also makes appearances, the trailer suggests that the temporal agent duo are once again the main focus of the action and together they must save the entire universe.
