Indeed, after celebrating the 52nd birthday of Queen Mary of Denmark, it was the turn of her sister-in-law Princess Marie to blow out her candles, this Tuesday, February 6. On this occasion, the crowned head presented an official portrait more successful than ever. We especially remember its natural but elegant beauty look.
Princess Marie opts for loose hair
In this photo signed by photographer Robin Skjoldborg and published on the Palace’s social networks, Princess Marie obviously appears beautiful. Wearing a gray Prince of Wales print jacket and a black top, she was able to highlight her brown mane with a tasteful hairstyle. The second wife of French origin of Prince Joachim has, in fact, styled her mid-length hair with a most refined blow-dry. She wears neither tiara nor tiara but simply has smooth, loose hair falling over her shoulders. The latter is positioned on the right side so as to reveal a flower shaped earringin homage to the former Queen Margrethe II.
Princess Marie’s impeccable makeup
If Princess Marie of Denmark’s hairstyle was perfect, her make-up was also very appreciated. In this photo which actually dates back several years (February 2021), she had chosen to wear a very light natural lookdisplaying only a soft smoky eyes highlighting her brown irises. The mother of Count Henrik and Countess Athena de Monpezat wears iridescent brown eye shadow on the mobile eyelid and on the lower lash line with mascara to lengthen her eyelashes. The rest of her makeup was simple and effective: she appeared with a luminous complexion, enhanced with a pink blush while a nude lipstick enhanced her mouth.
