With “Filles-Pétroles”, Nadia Beugré sweeps away the complexes and lets the “rage” of women dance

Nadia Beugré has toured a lot in recent years in Europe. But in her latest show, the Ivorian choreographer and dancer returned to her home neighborhood in Abidjan. She went to get her performers nicknamed La Chinoise and Gros Camion. Their dances sound like an emergency to exist, to survive. She is called cut shifted Or roukasskass and other acrobatic figures.
