With “Augures”, Chrystèle Khodr brings Lebanese theater back to life during the civil war

How to tell the story of Lebanon through its theatre? This is the challenge that Chrystèle Khodr launches in her play Augurs. The talented young director of the post-war generation in Lebanon brings together on stage two great actresses of the previous generation. Between laughter and tears, it’s a whole painful and very creative page at the same time that is evoked. The play will be played until April 27 at the Maison de la Culture in Bobigny before continuing its tour in France.

Memory is at the heart of Chrystèle Khodr's work.
