In Path of Exile 2 there is a type of enemy that annoys players thanks to his affix, but with a simple trick he can no longer harm you.
What type of opponent is it? In Path of Exile 2, all enemies can have different affixes that give them additional effects and abilities. One of the most annoying affixes is the one with mana drain. It usually comes with additional electrical damage and is marked with a blue ring around the elite mob.
Enemies who have this affix drain your mana in no time. But instead of hitting your opponent with blunt attacks or even trying to run away from them, you can easily outsmart them.

How do you defeat such opponents more easily? Anyone who panics and flees from the mana suckers without mana is only doing their enemies a favor. The easiest way to avoid being left without mana is to simply stand in the enemy’s direction.
The affix that makes the opponent drain mana only works near the blue circle. So if your character isn’t fast enough to run ahead of the elite opponent, you should simply stop and position yourself next to the monster.
Within the blue circle near the monster you are close enough to be protected from the affix. There you can easily defeat the enemy using your usual skills.
There are other annoying and sometimes dangerous affixes in Path of Exile 2.
