Fortnite begins its traditional winter celebration, this time inaugurated by an international Christmas symbol: Mariah Carey. Like every year, many gifts await the most dedicated players.
Friday evening, the irreplaceable Mariah Carey made a more than legendary appearance in the famous game Fortnite. In a short 45-second trailer, the singer came to spread the magic of Christmas on the island, to the heady air of All I Want For Christmas Is You.
Fortnite’s winter festival, titled “Winterfest”, should reward players with a shower of gifts until January 7, 2025 at 3 p.m. Since the mini-event that saw Mariah Carey emerge from a block of ice last Friday, players can dance with the singer mid-game to get a Christmas present.
A mountain of gifts to collect today
Fortnite is never stingy with gifts during the holiday season, and the 2024 edition is no exception! Until January 7, 2025, a large number of free cosmetics will be available to all players. First of all, the Mariah Carey pack, which contains:

Players will also be able to obtain the Shaq Santa pack, which contains:
- The outfit Shaq Santa (with the possibility of adding or removing a hood, a beard, glasses and a hat)

- The pickaxe Mandala mittens
- The coating Shaqdeau Paper
- The emote List of good guys
Finally, a third pack is recoverable, that of Snoop Dogg Cadillac. It brings together:

The return of mechanics well known to players
In addition to the gifts galore that await you in the game, Fortnite reintroduced historical mechanics of the game. Who says Winterfest obviously means Winterfest chalet. Players can go to his fireplace to open the many gifts stored next to each other. Among the gifts, we can find in particular the outfit super cool Santa Dogg.
Finally, the Battle Royal mode sees the return of iconic objects, such as the Blizzard grenade and the frozen feet, which will punctuate the fights in a completely different way.
Players will also be able to engage in special Winterfest quests, which will allow you to earn massive amounts of EXP before the arrival of the next season, which is expected to arrive at the end of February 2025.
