Using the hill for sledding is at your own risk and all users must act in an orderly, safe, and considerate manner. Parents/guardians are responsible for their children’s safety and to determine if the conditions are safe for tobogganing, city officials say.

Users are to refrain from building jumps or ramps and profanity and loud music are not permitted. Glass containers and pets are not permitted on the sledding hill and helmets are strongly recommended.

Skiing and/or snowboarding is not permitted on the hill.

Public and portable washrooms are not available on-site but free street parking and on-site parking is available.

In a statement released Thursday, the city said it is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from using the sledding hill.

To report a safety issue, residents can call the city’s customer service team at 519-759-4150 or call 911 in the case of an emergency.
