In tonight’s “Postcode Millionaire”, SEK 268 million will be awarded in the Postcode Lottery’s Grannyra and Bagarmossen in Stockholm will receive 37 new millionaires. It’s the biggest neighborly rage of all time, says program host Rickard Sjöberg.
One of the people who collects one of the biggest checks in the neighborhood is 68-year-old Jessica, who will be SEK 26,343,595 million richer. Now part of the money will be donated to the organization “Min stora dag”, which fulfills the wishes of children with serious illnesses and diagnoses.
– Now I can maybe realize things I want to do and I can also help which I cherish a lot, “My big day”. I love children, says Jessica.
During her professional career, Jessica has worked as a teacher and worked a lot in preschools. She is particularly passionate about all children’s right to joy.
– As a child, I was very afraid of hospitals and I really want children not to have to be. There are children who have long-term illnesses, with sick visits and a very boring everyday life. If you can make them happy and they can forget what they are going through with all the treatments for a while, then I will give it. Now I have the chance to help, she continues.
Britt-Marie gets the biggest win of the evening
The biggest win of the evening goes to Britt-Marie, 70, who wins SEK 27,893,217 million.
– I have always had a dream to renovate the summer house that I inherited because it was built in the 70s. My daughter and I love music, especially musicals. So it will probably be a musical trip with the daughter to London. I still haven’t realized that I won this much money, she says.
Among the big winners is also single mother Helle, 44. She goes home with a check for SEK 9,297,739 million. The plan is now to travel to Japan, among other things.
– I’m single and it’s not always easy to get things together. But now there are no limits. My son and I are the iron gang and he loves Japan, and I love him. It’s us against the world, she says.
