It is often said that the top success of one athlete may free others in the national team to succeed in the same games. The messaging of the gold medalists proves that the claim is not completely made up of the wind.

Finland has won two gold medals at the European Athletics Championships in Munich. The last time the Finnish national team was able to do something similar was in 2006 in Gothenburg, when Jukka Keskisalo and Olli-Pekka Karjalainen are celebrating the European Championships.
However, the Karelian won the gold medal in the javelin throw only after the fact Ivan Tsih’an because of the doping cart.
The Keskisalo gold medal came from the 3,000-meter steeplechase, just like this year The top also has stripes. On top of that, gold rushes are strikingly similar to each other, like the reporter Atte Husu wrote Urheilu in his comment.
Wilma Murto instead wrote a kind of history in Munich when she became the first Finnish women’s pole vault winner.
Murto won his gold medal on Wednesday, which inspired the rest of the Finnish team as well.
Raitanen was also inspired by Murro’s performance. On Saturday night, Murto shared a screenshot of his WhatsApp conversation with Topi Raitanen in the stories section of Instagram.
Raitanen had sent three messages to Murro on Wednesday.
“My god what a bet!!!”
“Good luck! Enjoy this! You’re fine in life”
“Huhhuh! This is how to win EC gold”
Murto said that in the middle of his gold party, he had received so many messages that he had not had time to answer them all. Raitanen’s message was one of them. Until Friday came.
Raitanen ran in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with his dominating finish to become the European champion, and Murto was awake.
“You know that,” Murto aptly replied to Raitanen’s WhatsApp message.
Urheilu met Murro on Friday evening, when he was on his way to watch Topi Raitanen’s award ceremony.
Murro was asked what was his part in Raitanen’s championship.
– Someone said that it has a domino effect. When one starts, the others follow. Now it seemed to work quite well, Murto said.
– Topi has been in a pretty good mood here for the last couple of days. I had faith that he was fine.
Murto excited Friday’s competition events in the stands of Munich’s Olympic Stadium.
– This is much more difficult when you can’t do anything about it yourself. You just look at it and hope for the best.
The European Athletics Championships will continue on Saturday and Sunday. Live broadcasts on ‘s channels.
