Today there are over 200 Willys stores around Sweden and last year had a record number of customers.
– Of course, it is very fun that we reach out so broadly. Many discovered us during the inflation crisis and have stayed and continued to shop. And even 2024 we had good customer growth even though the price situation was stable. We have continued to grow with more stores in 2024. Dirty interpretation: “Fäbo …”
And in the comments section, the reactions did not wait. Many people thought that the text brought their thoughts on something other than food. This is how some of them wrote:
“There was a movie once … Fäbo … something was called it.”
“Will not be mum sausage if she has a headache or is too tired.”
“Falukorv and mom …. Just me thinking outside the box?”

But what many seem to have missed is that “mum sausage” is the term that the fashion writer Alice Aveshagen used in one SvD text About the long, cylinder -shaped, down jackets that have become increasingly popular.
“The temperature barely has time to drop below zero before it pops up everywhere – the mother sausage. A formless down cylinder that seems to stifle the women of the Western world. How did we really end up here?”, She wrote and shortly thereafter the debate about the winter garment was running.

Willys: “lively imagination”
When Willys noticed how the reference did not really land with everyone, they were quick to explain in the comments field.
