William Poromaa sent an unexpected text message to his parents

When William Poromaa received a surprising message and picture from his father, he reacted with wonder.

The Swedish cross-country skiers are charging up for a new, thrilling season in the tracks. Right now there are many who are at high altitude camps in the Alps. And when you’re at camp, recovery is at least as important as training. It knows William Poromaa23, all about.

William Poromaa’s disclosure

He is a person, like many others, who likes to take time to relax with the phone in hand. It is completely normal. Everyone has their own ways to rest and recover. Scrolling on the handset and watching videos is a popular pastime for many. Even for elite athletes.

When Expressen asked Poromaa to explain his mobile habits, he revealed several things about him that many people probably don’t know. Among other things, they asked him about his screen time. It turns out that time changes depending on whether he is in camp or not.

– In my defense, it’s always like that when you’re in camp… It’s not good. It rises. Daily average, four hours and 30 minutes it says here. I don’t know if it’s good or bad, he says to the evening newspaper.

He also tells us which app he spends the most time on. He seems to like moving videos rather than stills, as he prefers TikTok and YouTube to Instagram.

– Yes, it’s probably TikTok. Or YouTube I should say. That is, at camp, because then there will be a lot of just looking at stuff, he explains.

Poromaa’s answer to the parents

Something that stood out a bit was Poromaa’s last text message, which Expressen asked about. It wasn’t surprising in itself that it was for his father Larry Poromaaalso a former elite-level skier. But the content of the message was somewhat unexpected. So was William’s response to Larry.

– “Damn” I wrote. The father sent a picture of the mother. They were hunting, so she had killed three birds with two shots. So then he was satisfied. So he wrote what a shooter she was. Then I wrote: “Damn, send a picture”, he says.

So it was a picture and a text about his mother Anette Poromaa (ex Fanqvistalso a skier) has been out hunting. The son was very impressed that his mother killed three animals with only two shots.

This was a fun little reveal! It’s wonderful that you dare and want to invite yourself, William. It is important not to take yourself too seriously.
