William Nylander’s total success in the NHL continues – now praised by the losing opponent: “World-class player”

William Nylander has had a great start to the season.
During the night of Wednesday, the success continued.
Now the Swede is highly praised – by his rival.

On Tuesday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs took on the Washington Capitals on home ice, in a game that ended 4–1 to Toronto. One of the targets stood William Nylander for, who has started the season really well, when he put 3-0 to the home team.

Nylander dominates

The 27-year-old now steps up to the top of the Swedish scoring league together with Elias Pettersson, after yesterday’s goal was Nylander’s fifth in six games. The forward also scored in the sixth game in a row, and he has thus not left the ice without a point this season. Nylander, whose contract expires after the season, now puts himself in a good position for an extension with a raise.

Along with Toronto captain John Tavares, Nylander has been the team’s top player in the beginning of the season and east in points.

After last night’s win against the Capitals, Nylander shared his recipe for success.
– The key is to move your legs when you have the puck, then you create a lot of chances, he says after the match at Capital One Arena according to Sportbladet.

Two praises from rival

After Nylander’s fine goal, which can be seen below, against the Capitals during the night, he is now praised by the coach. Not Toronto’s, but Washington’s.
– He is a world-class player. He fingers that puck on the fly and slams it under the crossbar. It is an enormously good performance. He hits one of our players with one hand. At the end of the day, it can’t happen, says Washington’s coach Spencer Carbery after the game.

Carbery also criticizes his own team’s performance.
– Same old story. We do good things but make costly mistakes and don’t get the results we want, he says.

The Maple Leafs, who are third in their standings, next face the Dallas Stars on Friday night. The Capitals host the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night,
