William Nylander’s new hit in Toronto’s drive last night: ‘Perfect’

William Nylander delivered both a goal and an assist as his Toronto blanked Los Angeles 6-2.
It was the Swedish hockey star’s third goal in four NHL games played.

The home team set the tone already in the first period and led 3-0 at the break – among other things after an assist by William Nylander.

“It was a perfect fit. Exactly where I want it, just like he usually does. It was a great game and there is more to come from him,” says the goalscorer Bobby McMann about the Swede’s performance.

Another Swede who was noticed in the night’s round was Pittsburgh’s Richard Rakell which tied the game at 5–5 in the team’s overtime win (6–5) against Buffalo.

In addition, became Leo Carlsson hero for Anaheim when he scored the decisive 5–4 goal less than a minute into overtime against Utah. The 19-year-old also assisted on Anaheim’s equalizer at the end of the third period.
