William Karlsson scored as the Vegas Golden Knights took over the series lead in the NHL

After the night’s 6-3 victory against St. Louis, the Vegas Golden Knights went up as the sole series leader in the entire NHL.

William Karlsson contributed by first assisting to level the score at 3-3 midway through the second period, before putting the nail in the coffin himself in the closing stages of the match.

Earlier in the week, tributes were paid Viktor Hedman as he celebrated his 1,000th game for Tampa Bay. He cemented his position as the club’s all-time leading scorer among backs in his 1,001st performance of the night when he added two more assists in a 3-1 victory against Pittsburgh.

Some others it’s going well for now are Edmonton. After a weak league start, the team took their fifth straight victory last night when they crushed Carolina 6-1. Matthias Ekholm accounted for one of the goals, while Matthias Janmark was credited with three assists.
