How likely is 60 FPS for GTA 6?

What is Richard Leadbetter’s assessment? The expert’s assessment may not be too pleasing for many fans. When asked if he thinks GTA 6 will run at 60 FPS on the PS5 Pro, he answers with a simple “no”.

The PS5 Pro features an improved GPU that offers up to 45% faster rendering as well as ray tracing capabilities. Still, Leadbetter remains skeptical that this new version is enough to push GTA 6 to 60 FPS.

Another factor he mentions is the CPU of the new Sony console. According to him, GTA games have always used complex simulations that put a lot of strain on the CPU, which is why previous titles also started at 30 FPS or less.

The processor in the PlayStation 5 Pro is the same one used in the previous model. According to the expert, this is the main reason why he believes 60 FPS will be difficult to achieve in GTA 6.

Does the PS5 Pro also bring advantages for GTA 6? According to Richard Leadbetter, the new console does have an advantage over its predecessor. He says that despite the FPS limitation, he expects GTA 6 to look more visually impressive on the Pro thanks to the improved GPU.

Rockstar Games has not yet confirmed whether they are aiming for 60 FPS in GTA 6, and the expert also sees no signs at the moment that this could be the case.
