We asked the brand officials about the equipment that is claimed to be canceled for the Togg C-SUV, the first examples of which came off the production line.
With the first mass production versions coming out of the factory in Gemlik, another important milestone has passed for Togg in getting onto asphalt. We had the opportunity to come together within the scope of the event with the first examples that were brought to the stage in more than one version with the plan to show the family’s color options. We talked directly with the brand officials about the future of some of the curious equipment for the Togg C SUV models, which we came together with the colors Anatolian Red and Pamukkale White. The Togg team, when we asked the speculations about the cancellation of some parts that attracted great attention in the concept version, gave very clear answers about the preparations.
What equipment will be offered in the Togg C-SUV?
One of the most curious parts shown in the concept version and whether it will be available for sale is the cameras that replace the traditional mirrors. Togg officials, whom we asked about this feature, which was reported to be canceled, stated that optional equipment can be purchased definitively. Another point where opinions about its cancellation are stated is the hidden door handle design. In the interviews we held, we learned firsthand that this design will come to the product range in the future after the tests to be carried out. Again, the glass roof option, which we have not seen on vehicles yet, will be among the equipment that users can buy as an option in the coming period. Sales process and 2023 production plans
The release date for the C SUV, which is announced to start sales through pre-order in February 2023, is indicated as March 2023. Models with sales planning under the leadership of digital channels without intermediaries bring a new user experience in this respect. One of the biggest surprises of the initiative, which wanted to add the C Sedan model to its range on the same infrastructure, in the next 2.5 years, was the update in its product range. In the product range where the HB body type has been canceled, the Cross Coupe will be put into use instead.

Togg team aims to produce 20 thousand units in the first year of the factory in Gemlik (for the year 2023). With the addition of the sedan and the Cross Coupe to the product range, the preparation of 100 thousand units for annual production from 2026 draws attention. The number of employees at the Togg factory, which is currently 1,350, is expected to increase to 4,300 with the transition to full capacity.
