Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made a statement regarding the meeting held today with the officials of the banned social media application Instagram, saying, “We did not get exactly the result we wanted, we are following up and actively discussing. We do not think there will be any progress for now.”
CATALOGUE CRIME STATEMENT FROM MINISTER URALOĞLU
Minister Uraloğlu had said, “Despite all our latest warnings, there is a framework we call catalogue crimes, we warned them within that framework; since we did not find the necessary response, we imposed an access ban. We will lift the access ban when the parties that do not comply with our law, the mentioned deficiencies are resolved and our sensitivities are met.”
