“The northern Kerkeweg is not suitable for allowing a lot of traffic to pass through,” says councilor Reijn. “Passing ports should be constructed there.” Land would have to be purchased for the western routes to the Anna Louwenweg or to the Waaij Stud horse breeding farm. Complicated, expensive and time-consuming, says Reijn. This also applies to the southern route behind the houses of Eembrugge, which in his opinion would also ruin the unobstructed polder view of the residents.
