Anyone walking between the terraced houses on Sint Bonifatiusstraat will not immediately realize that Wijkmuseum Soesterkwartier is located at number 61. Yet you can already see from the facade that there is probably a special story behind this house. The house is furnished as it must have looked in the 1940s and 1950s. “In addition, we have collected a lot of photos and stories from the neighborhood,” explains museum chairman Bets Beltman. “We are a kind of documentation center. Our goal is to keep the working-class past of this neighborhood visible.”
