Storm Otto, which moved in over Sweden on Friday evening, has caused major disturbances in the electricity networks during the night.
Shortly after 01:00, Eon stated that over 11,000 households were without power in large parts of Götaland.
On the night of Saturday, the wind begins to decrease over the western half of Götaland, according to SMHI. For the eastern half, it is then the windiest and on Gotland the wind only subsides on Saturday morning.
