In Britain, all flights departing from Manchester are threatened with delays and cancellations on Sunday morning due to a widespread power outage.
The power outage will especially affect the operation of terminals 1 and 2, Manchester Airport says in a press release on its social media channels.
Finnair uses Terminal 1. According to the Flightradar24 service, Finnair’s morning flight from Helsinki to Manchester departed as normal.
News channel Sky News the terminals will get electricity again, but the effects of the outage will continue until the evening.
