However, the experience is not always very happy as he was able to experience it on the set of X-Men Days of Future Past (2014). Indeed, his role as Bishop had been significantly reduced between filming and final editing. Also, when Colin Trevorrow offers him a role in his future Jurassic World, Omar Sy accepts but does not hide his concern as he explained to 20 Minutes in 2015. The same thing happens to me on this film, but director Colin Trevorrow gave me his word and he kept it: he kept everything.” In the feature film, which follows the Jurassic Park saga, Omar Sy plays the role of Barry, a fellow velociraptor trainer and friend of the main character played by Chris Pratt.
Colin Trevorrow wanted to work with Omar Sy not only for the success of Intouchables but also because he knew of his previous work on this blockbuster film. “Colin is probably the only American to know that I had a career before doing Intouchables” explained the actor, amused. Later, Omar Sy will continue his career in the United States with Inferno by Ron Howard, the adaptation of a novel by Dan Brown. If his career in the English language did not continue, he has since become one of the real stars of Netflix with the success of the series Lupin then Far from the ring road. If Omar Sy did not play in Jurassic World 2, he is still in the cast of its sequel, Jurassic World 3, again directed by Colin Trevorrow.
Synopsis – 22 years after the terrible events of the first Jurassic Park film, Isla Nublar once again hosts an amusement park populated by cloned dinosaurs. This time called Jurassic World, the park seeks renewed public interest and develops a genetic program to create mutant dinosaurs.
