With Threads, launched with fanfare this Thursday, July 6, Meta, the parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, seeks to capitalize on the difficulties of Twitter to impose itself. But the app, at this stage, will not be launched in the European Union for fear of European data protection legislation.
