Zeist – Too many accidents happen to installers of solar panels. That is what the Labor Inspectorate and industry associations say. Just yesterday, a mechanic was seriously injured after he fell off a roof in Zeist, something that according to the Labor Inspectorate is “war and weft”. Trade associations are therefore calling for only approved installers to be allowed on the roof. “No solar panel is worth dying for,” says Wijnand van Hooff of Holland Solar.
