This Men In Black spin-off stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.
After three films, the Men in Black made their big comeback in 2019 with the release of the spin-off “Men in Black: International”. In the casting of the film by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton), this time we find Chris Hemsworth (Thor in the Marvel films) and Tessa Thompson (Creed, Thor Ragnarok), responsible for flushing out a mole within the British agency. Neither Will Smithnor Tommy Lee Jones are returning to reprise their roles, although a tribute “in the background of certain sequences in the office of Liam Neeson” is returned to them.
But why is Will Smith not present in the casting of Men in Black: International? The actor has never hidden what he thought of this fourth blockbuster, confiding to Collider in 2013 that “three [films, NDLR]it is enough for [lui]”. “Whatever the franchise, three is enough. […] It seems to me that it would be time to let someone else do that.” For a while, the idea that his son, Jaden Smithto be present in this spin-off is mentioned, but his father would have opposed it: “He said no and he got straight to the point, he explained to Collider. He didn’t want to give me false hopes. I tell him again that I have something to contribute to the Men In Black Academy and that I am ready. But he tells him that I am not ready yet. We must therefore come to terms with this: the Men in Black adventure is well and truly over for Agent J.
Synopsis – The Men In Black have always protected Earth from the vermin of the universe. In this new adventure, they take on the biggest threat they have encountered yet: a mole within the Men In Black organization.
