The country had to be sublimated in pastry through several tests: dessert with maple syrup, realization of a tiled sequoia, a typical cake, and a creation supposed to represent the country.
But while he had always been unanimous with Cyril Lignac and Mercotte, Jéremy did not shine in this episode broadcast on M6. He especially made an off topic on the creative test, by proposing passionate mango flavors that did not represent Canada. After lacking in daring in the two previous events, Jérémy was eliminated in the ninth week of the Best Pâttsier.
Best Pastry Chef Eliminations. Before Jérémy’s departure, seven candidates had already been eliminated from the Best Pastry Chef (not counting the six candidates rejected at the end of the first qualifying episode): Margaux, who had thrown her gift in the trash, Guillaume, Méryl, Aurélie ( elimination which shocked Internet users because the candidate had twice won the blue apron), Nicolas, Anne-Loup and Marion.

The Best Pastry Chef is a culinary show broadcast on M6 since November 26, 2012. During this pastry competition, amateur candidates must take up the culinary challenges launched by Cyril Lignac and Mercotte, the two jurors, until they reach the final. Each year the winner wins the edition of his own cookbook. The Best Pastry Chef is currently presented by Marie portolano, after having been presented in the past by Julia Vignali (2017-2020) and Faustine Bollaert (2012-2017).
Since the creation of the French program, there have been several variations of the program presented on M6: Le Meilleur Pâtissier – celebrity special, which sees stars participating in the competition, but also Le Meilleur Pâtissier – The professionals which is this time a competition professional pastry chefs. The last season of the show was broadcast at the end of 2020. It was Elodie, a pizzeria manager from Mulhouse, who won this ninth season.
The Best Pastry Chef is broadcast on M6 from early fall. The tenth season is no exception to this rule: it is from October 7, 2021 from 9:05 pm that viewers will be able to find the sixth channel’s sweets competition. Please note, however, the program is no longer broadcast on Wednesdays, but on Thursdays from now on.
In 2021, 20 candidates compete in The Best Pastry Chef to win, every week, the blue apron and avoid elimination. The participants of the tenth season of the M6 show are between 16 and 67 years old. As is usually the case, the candidates come from all over France, but some also from Switzerland or Belgium. Only 14 of them are qualified, at the end of the first program, to continue the competition.
In 2020, Elodie was crowned winner of the Best pastry chef against Margaux and Bouchra. Coming from Mulhouse, the candidate, manager of her own pizzeria, stood out throughout season 9 by concocting cakes with very original flavors. As a reminder, at the end of the program, the winner leaves with the right to publish a cookbook.
