Polio vaccinations were able to start in Gaza News

The first phase of the large-scale polio vaccination campaign in Gaza has been successfully completed, says the World Health Organization WHO. The first dose of vaccination has been given to nearly 190,000 children in central Gaza.

In August, the first case of polio in 25 years was confirmed in Gaza. During the vaccination campaign that started on Sunday, the aim is to vaccinate a total of more than 640,000 children.

Diseases have spread in Gaza, bombed into ruins by Israel, the majority of its more than two million inhabitants have had to flee their homes due to the Israeli attack.
